Consumer electricals and electronics manufacturer V-Guard Industries Ltd. reported a robust financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 76.4% year-on-year to ₹130.25 crore, driven by double-digit growth across all business segments and healthy operating margins.

The company had posted a consolidated profit after tax of ₹73.85 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Consolidated revenue from operations during the June quarter increased 23.5% to ₹1,810.65 crore, compared with ₹1,466.08 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting healthy demand across its product portfolio.

Growth momentum remains intact
V-Guard Industries  Managing Director Mithun K. Chittilappilly said the company delivered a strong quarterly performance despite supply chain uncertainties arising from the conflict in West Asia.

“The business delivered a strong performance for the quarter with all segments delivering double-digit growth. Despite challenges posed by the West Asia war, the company delivered robust results while sustaining healthy margins driven by the inherent resilience of the business, proactive actions and a supportive summer season,” he said.

He added that the company would continue to closely monitor geopolitical developments and take appropriate measures to safeguard supplies and profitability.

“We are hopeful that the growth momentum will sustain in the upcoming quarters,” Chittilappilly said.

Resilient demand offsets geopolitical concerns
The June quarter performance underscores V-Guard’s ability to navigate external disruptions while maintaining growth. The company benefited from strong seasonal demand during the summer months, while proactive supply chain management helped mitigate the impact of geopolitical tensions on sourcing and logistics.

The results also indicate continued consumer demand for electrical and electronics products, enabling the company to sustain healthy margins alongside strong revenue growth.

With all business segments posting double-digit growth, V-Guard enters the remainder of FY27 with positive momentum, although management remains watchful of evolving geopolitical risks that could influence raw material supplies and input costs.
