Eco Hotels and Resorts Ltd, promoted by Eco Hotels UK PLC and focused on the mid-segment hospitality market, has launched its first boutique hospitality property in Udaipur as part of its expansion strategy across key tourism and leisure destinations in India.

The newly opened property, located near Govardhan Lake, offers premium accommodation and personalised guest experiences, targeting leisure travellers, weddings and lifestyle-driven tourism.

The launch marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth roadmap as it seeks to build a stronger presence in high-potential hospitality markets.

Integrated hospitality offering

The Udaipur project also marks the debut of EcoSip Cafe, the company’s first café brand, and “Kick In The Brick”, a double-deck rooftop restaurant and bar offering panoramic views of the Aravalli Hills.

“The introduction of Kick In The Brick and EcoSip Cafe further strengthens our hospitality ecosystem and enhances guest engagement beyond traditional accommodation,” said Chairman Vinod Kumar Tripathi.

“We believe this integrated offering will help establish a strong brand presence in the region while supporting our broader expansion strategy across key tourism markets in India,” he said.

Udaipur remains one of India’s leading tourism destinations, offering long-term opportunities across leisure travel, destination weddings, celebrations and premium hospitality experiences.

Expansion plans

The company said the launch reflects its strategy of diversifying revenue streams through accommodation, food and beverage, events and lifestyle-led hospitality experiences.

“Beyond financial performance, it strengthens the Eco Hotels brand in a high-growth tourism market and supports our long-term strategy of sustainable expansion and value creation,” said Director Finance and Chief Financial Officer Vikram Doshi.

Eco Hotels aims to establish a strong presence in India’s mid-segment hotel industry and has set a target of operating more than 20,000 rooms over the next decade.

The company is also planning to launch pure vegetarian hospitality properties, including Eco Satva Kota, EcoValue Kochi and EcoXpress Satva Nagpur. Additional expansion plans include new hotels in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Vadodara, Shirdi and Aurangabad.

Long-term growth strategy

The company said it continues to evaluate opportunities across major tourism and business hubs as part of its long-term growth strategy.

With the Udaipur launch, Eco Hotels has taken another step towards building a diversified hospitality platform spanning hotels, food and beverage offerings, events and lifestyle experiences across India’s growing tourism market.
