Bharat Tex ’26 To Host 7,000 Buyers, 1,600 Exhibitors In Delhi From July 14

Bharat Tex 2026, India’s largest global textile exhibition, will open on July 14 at Bharat Mandapam, bringing together more than 7,000 buyers, 1,600 exhibitors and delegates from over 20 countries to showcase the country’s growing leadership in textiles, fashion, sustainability and innovation.

Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of textile export promotion councils and industry bodies, with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, the four-day event aims to strengthen India’s position in global textile value chains.

Business at the centre
Spread across 1.6 million sq. ft. of exhibition space, Bharat Tex 2026 is expected to attract 1.3 lakh trade visitors and showcase over 20,000 textile products spanning the entire value chain, including fibre, yarn, fabric, apparel, home textiles, technical textiles and machinery.

The event will also facilitate over 4,000 curated B2B meetings, 100-plus B2G meetings, and the signing of more than 30 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering trade, investment, sustainability and technology collaborations.

Strong international participation
Exhibitors from 14 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, New Zealand and South Africa, will participate alongside Indian textile clusters such as Tirupur, Ahmedabad and Ichalkaranji.

The event is also expected to host ministerial delegations from countries including New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Cambodia and Brunei, while global industry delegations will explore new sourcing, trade and investment opportunities.

States showcase investment opportunities
Eight partner states,  Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, will play a key role in this year’s edition.

Nine additional states and Union Territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and West Bengal, will participate as exhibitors.

Dedicated State Investor Connect Sessions will highlight investment opportunities, industrial infrastructure, PM MITRA parks and policy support aimed at attracting investments into India’s textile sector.

Knowledge and sustainability
The event will feature more than 100 knowledge sessions, including panel discussions, roundtables and masterclasses on sustainability, Industry 5.0, technical textiles, global sourcing, trade policy and innovation.

Bharat Tex 2026 will also host the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026, recognising excellence in areas such as circular economy, sustainable materials, energy efficiency, social responsibility and responsible business practices.

Executive speak
Bharat Tex Trade Federation Chairman Naren Goenka said the event represents the most ambitious edition of Bharat Tex yet, reflecting close collaboration between the Ministry of Textiles, export promotion councils and industry associations.

Co-Chairman Bhadresh Dodhia said the event has been designed to convert business discussions into commercial outcomes through thousands of buyer-seller meetings and strategic partnerships.

India Exposition Mart Ltd Chairman Dr. Rakesh Kumar said Bharat Tex 2026 has been built to serve every segment of India’s textile industry, from large exporters to MSMEs, while strengthening India’s global competitiveness.

Digital-first business platform
To improve business engagement, Bharat Tex 2026 will leverage a dedicated mobile application and digital business platform featuring AI-assisted support, exhibitor discovery, meeting scheduling, QR-based lead capture and buyer-seller matchmaking.

The organisers expect the event to strengthen India’s textile exports, deepen global partnerships and reinforce the country’s position as a preferred sourcing and manufacturing destination.
