JSW MG Motor India has launched the Majestor, positioned as India’s first D+ SUV, as the automaker strengthens its premium SUV portfolio in the country.
The Majestor 4×2 automatic top trim has been launched at ₹40.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations, while the Majestor 4×4 automatic top trim has been priced at ₹44.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be available exclusively in the 7-seater option.
Focus on premium SUV segment
JSW MG Motor India Managing Director Anurag Mehrotra said the Majestor marks a significant addition to the company’s portfolio.

Twin-turbo diesel engine, advanced 4WD system
The Majestor is powered by a twin-turbo diesel engine delivering 215.5 PS power and 478.5 Nm torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission across both 2WD and 4WD variants.
The SUV features an intelligent four-wheel-drive system with 10 off-road modes, designed to automatically switch between 2WD and 4WD depending on terrain and traction conditions.
JSW MG Motor India said the Majestor becomes the first SUV in its segment to offer front, rear and centre differential locks, aimed at improving off-road recovery capabilities even when wheels lose traction.
The vehicle also comes equipped with crawl control mode, 219 mm ground clearance and 810 mm water wading capacity to strengthen its off-road performance credentials.
Large dimensions, premium cabin
Built on a 2950 mm wheelbase, the Majestor measures 5046 mm in length, 2016 mm in width and 1870 mm in height.
The SUV features a Mosaic Matrix grille, Dragon Eyes DRLs, tri-beam headlamps, connected LED tail lamps, raised hood line and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin features a black-themed interior with leather upholstery, ventilated and massaging seats, panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting and three-zone climate control.
The SUV is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations.
Connected features and ADAS safety suite
The Majestor integrates dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 12 JBL surround sound speakers, dual wireless chargers, a 220V power outlet and over 75 connected car features through the company’s iSMART platform.
On the safety front, the SUV comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering assisted steering, braking and acceleration support.
Additional safety features include a 360-degree HD camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ABS, EBD, Traction Control System (TCS) and Roll Movement Intervention (RMI).
The Majestor will be available in four colour options : Pearl White, Concrete Grey, Metal Black and Metal Ash.
MG Shield ownership programme
The SUV will also be offered with the company’s MG Shield ownership programme, which includes a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty, three years of roadside assistance and three labour-free periodic services.
Customers will also have the option to extend warranty coverage, roadside assistance and opt for prepaid maintenance packages. The company is additionally offering an assured buyback programme with up to 70% buyback value
