The Indian Hotels Co. Ltd (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has forayed into the integrated wellness segment by acquiring a 51% stake in Pune-based Sparsh Infratech Pvt. Ltd. in an all-cash deal worth ₹232 crore.
IHCL completed the acquisition on January 16, 2026. Pursuant to the acquisition, Sparsh Infratech has become a subsidiary of IHCL, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Earlier, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, said: “The growing wellness tourism market is witnessing a convergence of health and hospitality, and an increasing number of travellers are seeking immersive wellness experiences that go beyond conventional treatments and therapies.”
Established in 2007, Sparsh Infratech is engaged in the business of owning and operating a luxury health and wellness centre under the ‘Atmantan’ brand at Mulshi, near Pune.
Spread across 36 acres overlooking Mulshi Lake and the Sahyadri hills, Atmantan is a 97-key luxury wellness centre offering transformative programmes rooted in Ayurveda, yoga, Indian naturopathy, physiotherapy, nutrition, counselling, coaching and fitness. The centre recorded a turnover of ₹76.7 crore in FY25
