Hyundai India PAT Rises To ₹1,234 Cr On Better Sales Mix, Cost Control

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL). on February 2. reported ₹1, 234 crore profit after tax (PAT) for Q3FY26 as compared with ₹1, 160 crore, marking an increase of 6.3%, riding on better sales mix and cost control measures. The auto major registered 8% jump in its revenue to ₹17,973 crore as against ₹16,648 crore. EBITDA expanded to ₹2,018 crore in Q3FY26 as compared with ₹1,875 crore in Q3FY25.

Tarun Garg, MD& CEO, Hyundai India, said “The third quarter performance underscores our resilience and strong execution of “Quality of Growth” strategy, marked by healthy growth in volumes, revenue and profitability. Notably on a year-to-date basis, EBITDA margins expanded to 12.8% as against 12.5% last year, supported by our efforts towards improving sales mix and prudent cost control measures. As we move ahead, the robust January’26 sales number gives us great momentum towards a healthy 2026.”

HMIL saw GST 2.0  and  festive tailwinds supporting  domestic demand in the the quarter under review. As a result the company witnessed wholesale volumes up by 5% Q-oQ-, coupled with robust retail volumes.

Remarkably, CRETA reclaimed its position as the No. 1 SUV sold in India, achieving highest-ever annual sales of 200,000 plus units in CY2025.

New Venue has garnered strong market response with nearly 80,000 bookings till date and first time buyers’ contribution was at 48%. HIML’s strategic entry in commercial mobility, through Prime HB and SD taxi offerings was another highlight of the quarter. The company continued robust export momentum, volumes up 21% YoY in Q3 FY26, making a 25% contribution in overall sales mix. HIML also commenced vehicle production at its Pune plant.

HMIL recorded its highest ever monthly domestic sales of 59,107 units in January 2026, registering a 9.5% year-onyear growth. It also achieved its highest-ever total monthly sales of 73,137 units in January 2026, with a robust year-on-year growth of 11.5%, including monthly export sales of 14,030 units with year-on-year growth of 20.9%.
