Pure play water technology company VA Tech Wabag has reported a 30% growth in its consolidated net profit for Q3 FY26 at ₹91 crore compared to ₹70 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Revenue from operations grew 18.5% year-on-year (y-o-y) in the quarter and stood at ₹961 crore against ₹811 crore, driven by a healthy order book.
Rajiv Mittal, Chairman & MD, VA Tech Wabag said, “We continued on our profitable growth trajectory, driven by consistent project execution and disciplined operations. Performance remained in line with mid-term guidance, with revenue growth of over 18% while maintaining guided margins. “
The Chennai-based company secured break-through orders in future energy solutions sector for, CBG plant in Uttar Pradesh and UPW, ETP & ZLD for Renewsys in Hyderabad. It became net cash positive for 12th quarter in a row, driven by quality of order book and cash management.
“We sustained a net cash positive position for the twelfth consecutive quarter, with gross cash of over ₹1,000 crore, providing strong financial flexibility to pursue PPP opportunities, expand our geographical footprint, and develop new markets. With an order book exceeding ₹16,300 crore and a strong order pipeline, we remain confident of sustaining growth momentum in line with our medium-term outlook,” he said.
VA Tech secured order intake of over ₹4,700 crore in 9M FY26 and well positioned in projects worth over ₹3,000 crore.
