AI-native software creation platform Emergent has crossed $100 million in annual run rate (ARR) within just eight months of launch, positioning itself among the fastest-growing AI platforms globally and marking a significant milestone for India’s emerging AI ecosystem.
The company has seen accelerated growth in recent weeks, with ARR doubling from $50 million to $100 million in a single month, underlining rapid enterprise and developer adoption of AI-led software creation tools. Industry observers note that the pace of scale-up places Emergent among the fastest AI-native companies worldwide to reach the $100 million ARR threshold.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where Emergent highlighted its ambition to build a global technology company from India. Since launch, the platform has attracted over 6 million builders across more than 190 countries, who have collectively created over 7 million applications spanning multiple use cases.
Commenting on the milestone, Emergent co-founder and CEO Mukund Jha said the rapid growth reflects a fundamental shift in how software is being built. He noted that businesses and developers are increasingly seeking faster, simpler ways to move from idea to production. According to Jha, Emergent’s platform enables builders to ship revenue-generating, production-ready applications in weeks rather than months, eliminating much of the complexity traditionally associated with software development.
Alongside the ARR milestone, Emergent announced the launch of its mobile application, eaxtending its software creation capabilities beyond desktop environments. With the new offering, founders and businesses can now build and deploy web, iOS and Android applications end-to-end, and publish them directly to the App Store and Google Play. The company said this makes Emergent one of the few platforms globally to offer full-stack, cross-platform application development through an integrated agentic AI framework.
The revenue milestone builds on Emergent’s strong investor backing. In January 2026, the company raised $70 million in Series B funding, led by Khosla Ventures and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from Prosus, Lightspeed, Together and Y Combinator. The round took Emergent’s total funding to $100 million. At the time of the Series B raise, Emergent had already scaled to $50 million ARR within seven months of launch, a trajectory that has since steepened further.
