The landmark underlines the company’s success in building a resilient manufacturing base in Southeast Asia and its long-term commitment to serving both domestic and global markets with high-quality mobility solutions.

Since beginning production in 2006, TVS Motor Company Indonesia has emerged as a key pillar in the group’s global manufacturing network. Two-wheelers account for nearly 95% of total output, with three-wheelers contributing the remaining share, reflecting the company’s strong positioning in mass and last-mile mobility segments. Over nearly two decades, the Indonesian operations have consistently scaled capabilities while maintaining global quality benchmarks.

Indonesia as a Strategic Export Hub

Indonesia plays a critical role in TVS Motor Company’s global footprint, serving as both a manufacturing base and an export hub. A significant portion of the one million vehicles produced in the country has been shipped to international markets across ASEAN, South Asia, the Middle East, South America and Africa.

The company currently operates 49 dealerships across key regions including Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.
