Volkswagen Prices Tayron R-Line At Rs 46.99 Lakh, Steps Up Premium Play

Volkswagen India has announced the introductory price of its premium SUV, the Tayron R-Line, at Rs 46.99 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a significant step in the brand’s push to further its aspirational portfolio in the country.

Positioned as a luxury SUV for customers seeking a blend of performance and refinement, the Tayron R-Line combines progressive design, dynamic driving capabilities and advanced in-car technology. The model carries distinctive R-Line styling cues, underlining its sporty character while retaining everyday usability and comfort, attributes that have long been associated with the Volkswagen badge.

With a focus on precision engineering and understated luxury, the Tayron R-Line aims to cater to India’s evolving premium car buyers who increasingly value global design sensibilities alongside performance. The SUV features a refined interior layout and intuitive technology interfaces, designed to deliver a seamless and comfortable driving experience.

By introducing the Tayron R-Line at a compelling introductory price point, the company is seeking to strengthen its brand positioning among urban, upwardly mobile consumers.

The Tayron R-Line will be available in seven colour options,  Dolphin Grey Metallic, Oyster Silver Metallic, Ultraviolet Metallic, Cipressino-Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic and Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl Effect, offering customers a wide palette to personalise their purchase.
