Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported a 44% year-on-year growth in total sales for February 2026 at 5,58,216 units compared with the corresponding month last year.
Motorcycles accounted for 5 lakh units of the total sales, while scooters contributed 58,000 units during the month.
The company also recorded an 18% increase in Vahan registrations at 4,58,346 units in February 2026, reflecting healthy retail demand.
The strong performance was driven by sustained momentum in the scooter segment, supported by rising consumer preference for new and refreshed models such as Xoom and Destini. The 100cc–125cc motorcycle segment registered robust growth, providing a significant boost to overall volumes.
VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s emerging electric mobility business, continued its growth trajectory, recording a threefold increase in market share over the same period last year. It posted 12,514 Vahan registrations during the month, underscoring increasing consumer adoption of electric mobility across key markets.
The company’s Global Business also maintained momentum across international markets, registering a 34% growth in dispatches at 41,248 units, driven primarily by strong consumer response to its premium portfolio.
