Nissan Motor India reported consolidated sales of over 10,565 units in February 2026, registering a robust 23% year-on-year growth reflecting steady momentum across both domestic and international markets. Domestic wholesale volumes stood at 2,230 units, while exports surged to 8,335 units, underlining India’s growing strategic importance within Nissan’s global manufacturing and export ecosystem.
Gravite Launch Marks A Strategic Turning Point
February also marked a pivotal milestone for the company with the launch of the new Gravite, which has received an overwhelming response from customers and dealers across regions. Following strong booking momentum, customer deliveries commenced nationwide from March 1, 2026.
The rollout of the Gravite is being positioned as the beginning of Nissan’s next growth chapter in India, one anchored in a product strategy tailored to Indian consumer preferences, renewed dealer confidence and a sharper market focus.
Nissan Motor India MD Saurabh Vatsa said that February is an important and forward-looking month for the company. He noted that the consolidated performance reflects stable underlying demand and sustained export strength, reinforcing India’s strategic role in Nissan’s global operations. With deliveries of the Gravite underway, he expressed confidence that the coming months would reflect the full momentum of the refreshed portfolio.
