Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler arm of Suzuki Motor Corporation, delivered a strong performance in February 2026, registering a 37% year-on-year growth as it continued to expand its product portfolio, retail footprint and community engagement initiatives across the country.
The company reported total sales of 1,23,299 units during the month, compared to 89,966 units in February 2025. Domestic sales stood at 1,01,071 units, reflecting a robust 38% growth over 73,215 units sold in the same month last year. Exports contributed 22,228 units, marking a 33% increase from 16,751 units exported in February 2025.
Portfolio Expansion And Revenue Momentum
SMIPL’s spare parts division recorded revenues of ₹89 crore in February 2026, registering an 18% growth year-on-year. The performance highlights the strengthening aftersales ecosystem and rising customer engagement with the brand.
During the month, SMIPL enhanced its scooter portfolio with the launch of the Suzuki Access featuring a single-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), reinforcing its focus on safety and technology-led upgrades in the high-volume segment.
Nationwide Retail Expansion
In line with its growth strategy, the company expanded its retail footprint with the inauguration of Kanak Suzuki in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, and marked its entry into Sikkim with its first dealership in Gangtok. With this milestone, SMIPL has established its presence across all states of India, a significant step in furthering market penetration and customer accessibility.
SMIPL VP sales & marketing Deepak Mutreja attributed the strong February performance to sustained customer trust and dealer support. He emphasised that continuous rider engagement and real-world product experiences remain central to the company’s approach, alongside delivering meaningful value in everyday mobility.
Community-Centric Brand Building
SMIPL hosted the Hyderabad edition of its flagship motorcycling festival, Suzuki Matsuri, which saw participation from more than 3,700 riders and customers. The company also participated in Anime India 2026 in Kolkata and rolled out its nationwide Suzuki Motofest campaign.
On-ground engagement initiatives during the month included GIXER Pit Stop events across Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kozhikode and Nagpur; a V-Strom Experience Day in Vadodara; and the Suzuki Access Mileage Contest in Angul (Odisha) and Rupnagar (Punjab).
