GAIL (India) Ltd entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with RailTel Corporation of India Ltd to collaborate in the key sectors of the digital infrastructure in the country.
The MoU was signed by GAIL Executive Director (O&M-CO) S.S. Agrawal and RailTel CS & GGM (Law) J.S. Marwah in the presence of GAIL Director (Business Development) Rajeev Kumar Singhal and RailTel CMD Sanjai Kumar and other senior officials from both the companies.
GAIL CMD Deepak Gupta said: “This partnership is fully in sync with our vision to integrate energy and digital infrastructure, leveraging the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, all of which are pivotal to India’s development journey.”
RailTel CMD Sanjai Kumar said: “RailTel is committed to strengthening India’s digital backbone through robust and secure communication infrastructure. Our collaboration with GAIL will enable both organisations to combine their strengths in network infrastructure and technological capabilities to accelerate the expansion of reliable digital connectivity across the country.”
