Park Group Launches Panchkula Hospital, Expands Mohali Facility to Build 850-Bed Tricity Healthcare Network
Park Group of Hospitals has approved the launch of an advanced multi-super specialty hospital in Panchkula, with a capacity expandable to 350 beds, along with a 150-bed expansion of its existing 350-bed facility in Mohali.
The expansion strengthens the group’s footprint across the Tricity healthcare ecosystem of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
The Panchkula hospital is scheduled to become operational on March 29, 2026, enhancing access to advanced healthcare services for patients across Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh.
With the addition of the Panchkula facility and the upcoming expansion at its Mohali campus, Grecian Super Specialty Hospital, Park Group’s consolidated capacity across the Tricity region will reach 850 beds, making it the largest private healthcare network in the region.
The Tricity cluster will comprise 350 existing beds at Mohali, a capacity of up to 350 beds at the newly launched Panchkula hospital, and an additional 150-bed super specialty expansion at the Mohali campus.
The Panchkula facility has been designed to deliver comprehensive tertiary and quaternary care services. It will be supported by advanced diagnostics, modern operation theatres, and critical care infrastructure.
The hospital will offer specialised treatment across multiple medical disciplines to meet the growing demand for advanced healthcare services in the region.
The upcoming 150-bed expansion at Mohali will focus on strengthening advanced clinical capabilities. Investments will be directed toward high-acuity specialties including oncology, neurosciences, gastro sciences, and robotic surgeries.
The expansion will also introduce robotic joint replacement capabilities, enhancing the hospital’s ability to provide minimally invasive and technology-driven treatment options.
Park Medi World Ltd Managing Director Dr. Ankit Gupta said the launch of the Panchkula hospital and expansion of the Mohali facility mark a major milestone in the group’s effort to strengthen advanced healthcare access across the Tricity region.
“With a combined capacity of 850 beds across our Mohali and Panchkula campuses, we are building one of the most comprehensive private healthcare networks in the region,” he said, adding that the group aims to create an integrated ecosystem combining clinical expertise, technology, and scale to deliver world-class care closer to communities.
Park Group, North India’s second-largest hospital chain, currently operates 15 hospitals with a combined capacity of 3,610 beds. The group is also integrating six additional hospitals under various stages of execution and expanding existing facilities, which will add 1,850 beds.
These expansions are expected to increase the group’s total capacity to 5,460 beds by March 2028, underscoring its aggressive growth strategy in healthcare delivery.
