Hyundai Venue Crosses 1 Lakh Bookings; Unveils Diesel Automatic

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has announced that its compact sport utility vehicle, the Hyundai Venue, has crossed one lakh bookings in India.

Marking the milestone, the company also introduced a new HX8 Diesel Automatic (AT) variant, aimed at offering greater convenience and performance to customers in the compact SUV segment.

The new HX8 Diesel AT variant is powered by the U2 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is designed to deliver a blend of efficiency, torque-rich performance and driving convenience while expanding the accessibility of the Venue range.

The variant comes with a range of comfort, safety and convenience features including front-row ventilated seats, dual-tone leatherette seats, a four-way electrically adjustable driver seat, over-the-air (OTA) controller updates, Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology.

Besides it has electric parking brake with auto hold, rear disc brakes, ambient lighting on the crash pad and central console, drive modes (Eco, Normal and Sport), traction control modes (Sand, Mud and Snow) and paddle shifters.

Managing Director and CEO Tarun Garg said the milestone reflects growing demand for smart, connected and feature-rich mobility solutions among Indian customers.

“The introduction of the new HX8 Diesel Automatic variant further strengthens the Venue lineup, offering customers the perfect blend of diesel efficiency, torque-rich performance and effortless convenience,” he said.

He added that Hyundai remains focused on delivering future-ready products aligned with evolving customer expectations and supporting the next phase of mobility in India.
