BMW Emphasises M Performance DNA

It gets a dual-flow LED headlight inspired by the RR models, along with the M logo integrated in the air intake. The motorcycle also features M Winglets, which generate aerodynamic downforce and increase front-wheel load by around 11 kg at 220 km/h, enhancing stability at high speeds.

The roadster can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 km/h.

It features BMW ShiftCam technology, which optimises torque and power delivery across low, mid and high engine speeds. The engine also incorporates titanium valves, lightweight cam followers and optimised camshafts for improved performance.

Advanced Electronics And Rider Features

The motorcycle comes equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT instrument cluster featuring an M-themed start-up animation and redesigned rev counter display.

Other features include OBD interface for M GPS Datalogger, adaptive turning LED lights, electronic cruise control, heated grips, rear USB charging socket and lightweight M battery.

Customers purchasing the BMW M 1000 R will receive a standard three-year unlimited-kilometre warranty, with options to extend coverage up to the fourth and fifth year.
