Intellect Design Arena Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with UK-based fintech services provider Fintel PLC with the formation of joint venture company.
The JV will deploy and commercialise Intellect’s globally proven enterprise grade Agentic AI platform into the UK Wealth Management market via Fintel’s extensive client portfolio. It aims to be the UK market leader in this sector of Financial Services.
The initial phase will involve deploying UK-ready or near-ready use cases, after which the platform will expand through the development of bespoke AI agents and components powered by Intellect’s proprietary eMACH.ai architecture. These solutions will be aligned with UK regulations, advisory protocols, operational processes, and product structures.
The proposed joint venture company will be incorporated in the UK, subject to regulatory clearances, with both partners holding an equal stake of 50:50.
Fintel is a listed company and a leading provider of fintech and support services to the UK’s retail financial services sector. The company currently serves more than 80% of the UK financial advisory market either directly or through its institutional clients, giving the venture access to a large established distribution network.
Intellect Design Arena, a global fintech product company, specialises in technology solutions for the financial services sector. The company operates in the IT and services industry and provides a wide range of products covering banking, insurance, capital markets, and risk and treasury management.
Its portfolio includes digital banking platforms, insurance technology solutions, capital markets technology systems, and risk and treasury management platforms used by financial institutions worldwide.
The proposed venture is expected to combine Intellect’s product engineering and AI capabilities with Fintel’s deep market access and advisory ecosystem in the UK, enabling the partners to deliver technology-driven financial advisory solutions to wealth managers and financial advisers across the country.
Fintel CEO Matt Timmins said: “Our partnership with Intellect brings AI-first engineering architecture directly into the heart of the UK advisory ecosystem, allowing us to move beyond point solutions toward a fundamental redesign of how firms operate. Combining Fintel’s market intelligence and ecosystem reach with Intellect’s global technology leadership allows us to establish a new foundation for advisory technology in the UK, one that is resilient, adaptive, and built for long-term evolution.”
IntellectAI CEO Banesh Prabhu said: “This joint venture is about delivering an AI-first operating architecture for financial advice rather than adding another layer of software to an already complex technology stack. By combining Intellect’s eMACH.ai architecture with Fintel’s deep market reach, we are creating a platform that amplifies human advisers rather than replacing them, enabling firms to scale trust, resilience, and productivity in the Agentic AI era.”
