Leading hospitality company Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd has expanded its presence in Maharashtra by signing a 50-keys resort in Lonavala.
With 15 operational properties in the state and 14 more in the pipeline, including this signing, the company continues to deepen its presence in Maharashtra.
The resort will be managed by Carnation Hotels Pvt. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
Lonavala, nestled in the Sahyadri hills, is among the most sought-after leisure destinations in Western India, known for its scenic landscapes, pleasant climate and proximity to Mumbai and Pune.
The destination attracts a steady mix of weekend travellers, destination weddings and corporate offsites, making it an ideal location for a branded resort offering.
CEO – Managed & Franchise Business Vilas Pawar said: “Lonavala remains a high-demand leisure destination with strong potential across weekend travel, weddings and corporate retreats. This signing aligns with our focus on expanding our resort portfolio in key getaway destinations, while continuing to build scale in Maharashtra.”
The resort is located 69 km from Navi Mumbai International Airport and 5.8 km from Lonavala Railway Station, providing easy connectivity for travellers from major cities across India.
This addition reflects Lemon Tree Hotels’ continued focus on strengthening its presence across prominent leisure destinations, while complementing its established footprint in key urban centres.
