German luxury car manufacturer Audi has strengthened its premium SUV portfolio in India with the launch of the Audi SQ8, a model that bridges the gap between the Q8 and the high-performance RS Q8. Priced at an introductory ₹1.77 crore (ex-showroom), the SQ8 emphasises Audi’s focus on expanding its performance-led offerings in the country.
The SUV comes bundled with a 10-year complimentary roadside assistance package, alongside comprehensive maintenance and service plans, enhancing its ownership appeal.

Power Meets Precision Engineering
The SQ8 has a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine delivering 373 kW and 770 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel drive system, paired with adaptive air suspension sport and all-wheel steering, ensures a refined yet dynamic driving experience.
Design, Technology And Comfort
The SQ8 carries Audi’s bold design language with HD Matrix LED headlights featuring laser light technology, frameless doors and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, the cabin blends sportiness with luxury, featuring S-embossed sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel and ambient lighting with 30 colour options.
Tech offerings include the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, MMI Navigation system and a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system delivering 730 watts through 17 speakers.
Safety and Convenience At The Core
The SUV is equipped with eight airbags, Audi Pre Sense Basic, park assist with 360-degree cameras and advanced driver assistance features. Optional additions such as night vision assist and head-up display further enhance safety and driver awareness.
