Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) has marked a significant milestone with the launch of Season 5 of its flagship initiative Art for Hope, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing India’s diverse artistic ecosystem. Held at Travancore Palace in New Delhi, the programme recognised 50 artists and collectives with grants worth ₹60 lakh.
With this latest edition, the cumulative grant corpus under the initiative has surpassed ₹2.3 crore, benefitting 200 artists across India. Apart from this. HMIF’s broader interventions have positively impacted over 25,000 artists nationwide.
Driving Social Impact Through Art
Hyundai Motor India MD & CEO, Tarun Garg, said, “Anchored in Hyundai’s global vision of Progress for Humanity, Art for Hope advances HMIF’s approach to creating shared value. Through this initiative, we invest in social changemakers, support emerging and underrepresented artists, preserve India’s rich heritage and enable creativity that moves communities forward.”

Celebrating India’s Creative Diversity
Season 5 of Art for Hope showcases a vibrant mix of 50 grant winners, including 10 art collectives and 40 individual artists, among them five persons with disabilities. The programme drew nearly 800 applications from 22 states and union territories, highlighting its growing national footprint.
From tribal storytellers and rural collectives to urban innovators and digital creators, the initiative captures the evolving narrative of Indian art while promoting inclusion.
