Adani Airport Holdings Buys Skyiwave To Strengthen OOH Advertising Play

CW Bureau ·

Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd, has acquired 100% equity stake in Skyiwave Pvt Ltd for a cash consideration of ₹3 crore and assumed operational control.

The transaction was executed through a share purchase agreement with Skyiwave and its existing shareholders.

Strategic acquisition

Following the deal, Skyiwave has become a wholly owned subsidiary of AAHL and a step-down subsidiary of Adani Enterprises.

The acquisition is aimed at strengthening AAHL’s capabilities in out-of-home (OOH) advertising and media solutions across its airport network.

Business focus

Skyiwave, incorporated in Gujarat, is engaged in the operation and maintenance of OOH advertising, hoardings and innovative media solutions.

The company’s integration is expected to support AAHL’s efforts to enhance non-aeronautical revenue streams through advertising and brand engagement initiatives.

Financial profile

Skyiwave has a paid-up share capital of ₹50 lakh. For FY25, the company reported a turnover of ₹16.51 lakh.

Growth opportunity

The acquisition aligns with AAHL’s strategy to diversify revenue sources beyond core airport operations.

With rising passenger traffic and increasing advertiser interest in high-footfall transit hubs, OOH media is emerging as a key growth lever for airport operators.
