Hyundai India Reports Steady March Growth; Marks Record Domestic Sales

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) reported total monthly sales of 69,004 units in March 2026, registering a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 2.5%.

The March sales included exports of 13,940 units and domestic sales of 55,064 units. Notably, this marks HMIL’s highest-ever domestic sales for any March, reflecting a strong 6.3% YoY growth.

Q4 performance driven by strong domestic demand

For the January–March 2026 period, HMIL recorded total sales of 2,08,275 units, posting a healthy YoY growth of 8.7%.

This includes domestic sales of 1,66,578 units, up 8.5% YoY, representing the company’s highest-ever quarterly domestic sales since inception. Export volumes during the quarter stood at 41,697 units, registering a 9.4% YoY growth.

Confident outlook for FY27

“Continuing the momentum gained in 2026, we have achieved our highest-ever quarterly domestic sales of 1,66,578 units in Q4 FY2025–26. We remain confident of sustaining this pace with upcoming product interventions such as the recently upgraded Hyundai Verna and Exter.
