Midhani FY26 Sales Touch ₹1,206 Cr Amid Supply Chain Disruptions

Public sector enterprise Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd (Midhani) posted 12% increase in its sales revenue for the year ended 2026 at ₹1,206 crore (provisional and unaudited), over the year ago period, despite supply chain disruptions.

Last fiscal, the Hyderabad-based firm Midhani reported sales of ₹1,074 crore.

The company said it achieved the highest ever sales revenue in FY26, despite significant geopolitical disruptions that affected the supply of raw materials, strategic planning and execution successfully mitigated production impacts. It also successfully executed export orders of ₹85 crore

Strong sectoral demand

Key contributors to this growth included the supply of superalloys and titanium alloys for indigenous aero‐engine programs, as well as performance critical materials for the Indian Navy and Indian space sectors.

Advanced materials and defence focus

Notable deliveries during the year featured nickel‐based single crystal cast sticks and wrought superalloy bars and rolled rings for aerospace, alongside high‐strength low‐alloy steels for naval applications.

During the year, Midhani successfully executed up‐armouring of vehicles for different state police forces meeting the side mine blast proof requirements in light motor vehicles.

Technology tie-ups

It also obtained technology transfer from IIT Delhi for the manufacture of Advanced Ballistics for High Energy Defeat bullet proof jackets, which is one of the world’s lightest BIS levels 6 for application programming interfaces.

An MoU was signed with different stake holders for the creation of a Metal Bank at Midhani to ensure uninterrupted availability of critical raw materials for Defence projects of national importance.
