CW Bureau ·

Titan Company, one of India’s leading lifestyle and consumer goods companies, registered a 46% year-on-year growth in its consumer businesses in Q4FY26 (provisional and unaudited). The company added 47 stores during the quarter, expanding its combined retail network to 3,603 stores.

Jewellery shines brightest

The jewellery business delivered 46% year-on-year growth, with secondary consumer sales rising 52%, led by Tanishq and supported by Mia. Despite steep gold price increases, the division recorded high single-digit buyer growth in Q4 after nearly flat buyer growth in the previous three quarters.

Studded jewellery grew in the early thirties, plain gold clocked mid-thirties growth, and coins nearly tripled in sales compared to Q4FY25. Like-for-like secondary growth across all jewellery retail formats stood close to 48%, with 27 net new store additions in India.

Watches mixed; analog holds, smartwatches slip

The watches division posted 7% overall growth, comprising 16% growth in analog watches and a 53% decline in the smartwatches category. Analog growth was led by Titan, Sonata and international brands, with premiumisation trends contributing to healthy ticket size increases.

The division added 30 net new stores across Titan World, Fastrack, Helios and Helios Luxe during the quarter.

EyeCare steady, emerging businesses mixed

The EyeCare business grew 16%, powered by international brands across sunglasses, lenses and frames. The division renovated 37 stores, closed 32 and added 12 new ones. Among emerging businesses, fragrances grew 30%, women’s bags rose 47%, while Taneira’s sales declined 1%.

International business surges 156%

Titan’s international business, including Damas, grew 156%. North America clocked 50% growth and Tanishq’s GCC business delivered 37% growth despite significant disruptions due to the Middle East conflict in March. As of March 2026, Titan’s international store network spans 149 stores in the GCC, 12 in North America and one in Singapore.
