Premier Energies Secures Order For 1,600 MW Solar Cells And Modules

Premier Energies Ltd, one of the largest integrated solar module manufacturers in India, has secured orders worth ₹2,577 crore in Q4 for the supply of 1,600 MW of solar cells and modules.

Strong order inflow

The execution of these orders is scheduled across FY27 and FY28. The contracts have been awarded by a mix of leading domestic independent power producers (IPPs), module manufacturers and EPC contractors, reflecting sustained confidence in the company’s execution capabilities and integrated manufacturing platform.

The robust order book highlights the company’s growing scale, with its solar cell manufacturing capacity expected to reach 10.6 GW by September 2026.

Capacity expansion underway

The company recently commissioned an additional 5.6 MW solar module manufacturing capacity at its Seetharampur facility in Telangana, taking its total installed capacity to 11.1 GW.
