Brigade Group Signs Joint Pact For Residential Project In East Bengaluru

CW Bureau ·

Brigade Group has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for the development of an integrated residential township on an 8.63-acre parcel in Gunjur, located in the Whitefield–Sarjapur corridor of East Bengaluru.

The proposed project forms part of a larger 39-acre development, planned primarily as a large-scale residential township, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of about ₹7,200 crore.

The overall land assembly for the township is being undertaken through a combination of outright purchases and joint development agreements. The execution of the 8.63-acre JDA marks a key milestone in advancing the larger master-planned development.

Strengthening East Bengaluru pipeline

“Whitefield-Sarjapur Road continues to be one of Bengaluru’s most compelling micro-markets and residential growth corridors, driven by infrastructure expansion, connectivity, and strong employment catchments,” said Brigade Enterprises Managing Director Pavitra Shankar.

“The signing of this JDA is an important milestone that strengthens Brigade’s residential pipeline in East Bengaluru and enables us to move forward with a large, integrated township development. Brigade has a strong track record of delivering well-planned residential communities, and this township will reflect our focus on quality, scale, and long-term liveability,” she said.

“With multi-generational residential offerings, including senior living spaces, supported by thoughtfully planned amenities and convenience infrastructure, our aim is to create a cohesive, future-ready residential ecosystem,” she added.

Focus on integrated communities

The development is expected to feature a mix of housing options catering to diverse demographics, along with supporting infrastructure and amenities.

The move reinforces Brigade Group’s continued confidence in Bengaluru’s residential market and aligns with its strategy of developing large, integrated, high-quality residential communities in key growth corridors of the city.
