CleanMax Seals Hybrid Energy Deal To Decarbonise Sangam Operations

CW Bureau ·

Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Ltd, a major renewable energy solutions provider for the commercial and industrial sector, has announced a partnership with Sangam India Ltd to decarbonise its operations across Rajasthan.

Hybrid energy agreement across multiple facilities

Sangam India is the flagship textile entity of the Sangam Group, headquartered in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The collaboration includes the signing of a hybrid renewable energy supply agreement to deliver 30 MWp of solar and 20 MW of wind power, augmented with a 2 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), to five Sangam facilities across Rajasthan.

Group captive structure powers expansion

The power will be supplied from CleanMax’s Bhikamkor hybrid farm under an intra-state group captive structure, marking a key milestone in its national expansion strategy. Across Rajasthan, CleanMax has developed renewable energy projects at locations including Bhikamkor and Bikaner. As of March 31, 2026, the company has 525 MW of operational capacity in the state, supporting a diverse base of corporate and industrial customers.

Scalable solutions for energy-intensive sectors

These initiatives serve customers across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and data centres, reflecting CleanMax’s ability to deliver scalable and reliable renewable energy solutions for energy-intensive operations. Rajasthan’s high solar irradiation and strong wind potential make it a natural hub for hybrid renewable development. By combining solar and wind generation with storage, such projects enable a more stable and predictable supply profile across day-night cycles.

Important milestone in CleanMax’s national expansion

CleanMax MD Kuldeep Jain said, “Our expansion into Rajasthan marks an important milestone in CleanMax’s national expansion. This reflects our long-term growth strategy of building high-quality projects across key industrial clusters. The partnership with Sangam India Limited strengthens our geographic and customer portfolio with round-the-clock power.”

Operations and sustainability move in tandem

Sangam India Chief Financial Officer S. R. Dakhera said, “With a global footprint, for a manufacturing-led business like ours, operations and sustainability must move in tandem. As a group, we aim to become one of the most sustainable companies in the Indian textile sector. Further, as a GRS (Global Recycled Standard)-certified company, we have been strategically shifting our focus towards being an environment-friendly conglomerate, encouraging sustainability in the Indian textile industry. This collaboration with CleanMax allows us to access hybrid renewable energy backed by storage, supporting stable operations across multiple facilities while advancing our long-term decarbonization roadmap.”
