Wipro Wins Strategic Deals In March Quarter, Doubles Down On AI Play

IT services major Wipro closed the fourth quarter of FY26 with a series of strategic deal wins and renewals across healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail, and energy, reinforcing its positioning as a consulting-led, AI-powered transformation partner.

Healthcare and insurance drive growth
A leading US-based health insurer expanded its engagement with Wipro to support large-scale IT modernisation, with a focus on reducing medical costs and enhancing member experience. The programme will deploy Wipro Intelligence platforms such as WEGA and WINGS to drive automation, predictive insights, and operational efficiency.

In a separate mandate, another US insurer selected Wipro’s PayerAI solution to modernise enrollment, billing, and claims operations, delivering AI-driven automation, improved accuracy, and enhanced compliance across its medicare advantage business.

Large-scale IT and workplace transformation wins
A global technology leader renewed its partnership with Wipro to unify IT infrastructure and digital workplace services for an acquired entity, consolidating multiple vendors into a single delivery model.

Meanwhile, ABB Group extended its multi-year engagement with Wipro to accelerate an AI-led workplace transformation, introducing agentic AI-powered service desks and predictive device management to boost productivity and user experience.

Medtech, manufacturing and operations modernisation
A global medtech company has partnered with Wipro to transform its post-market surveillance processes into a scalable, AI-enabled ecosystem, strengthening compliance and operational continuity in a highly regulated environment.

A global manufacturer also expanded its engagement, leveraging AI-led automation and a shared-benefits model to enhance visibility, resilience, and operational efficiency. Additionally, a Southeast Asian manufacturer mandated Wipro to set up a global capability centre (GCC), embedding AI across asset monitoring, maintenance, and enterprise operations.

Financial services and consulting-led engagements
TruStage has engaged Wipro for a multi-year transformation of its retirement services business, integrating operations and technology into a unified, AI-enabled model to improve scalability and customer experience.

Capco, Wipro’s consulting arm, secured key wins including a capability-as-a-service (CaaS) mandate from a UK-based energy trading firm and an enterprise-wide AI strategy engagement with a global financial services organisation, focusing on AI commercialisation and responsible AI adoption.

Retail and enterprise transformation momentum
A major US retailer selected Wipro to modernise store operations through a data-driven, mobile-enabled platform aimed at improving execution, productivity, and customer experience.

In Europe, a health technology organisation renewed its engagement with Wipro to streamline operations, strengthen governance, and embed AI-led process optimisation for improved efficiency and compliance.

AI at the core of growth strategy
Across deals, a common thread remains Wipro’s focus on embedding AI into core business processes, driving automation, cost efficiency, and scalable digital ecosystems. The Q4 deal momentum underlines the company’s push towards integrated, cloud-native and AI-first operating models for global enterprises.
