Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Ltd (BECIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to deepen collaboration in advanced technologies, digital transformation and capacity building. The alliance is aimed at leveraging the complementary strengths of both organisations to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.
Focus on emerging technologies and joint execution
The partnership will centre on joint project implementation, consultancy and technical support, along with the development of solutions across cutting-edge domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, 5G and cloud computing. The collaboration also envisages building turnkey solutions across sectors, alongside enabling technology transfer and commercialisation of innovative products.
Upskilling and capability building at the core
A key pillar of the MoU is workforce development. Both entities will work towards capacity building, upskilling and skill development initiatives to strengthen technical expertise and support India’s growing digital ecosystem.
Leadership outlook
The MoU was signed by Capt. (IN) Saurav Chauhan (Retd), Director (O&M), BECIL, and Niranjan Vaishnav, Registrar, C-DAC, in the presence of senior officials.
CMD of BECIL, D.K. Murali, noted that the collaboration will enhance BECIL’s capabilities in advanced technologies and digital transformation. He emphasised that the partnership is designed to deliver impactful solutions while contributing to India’s broader digital growth agenda.

The collaboration is expected to foster innovation, accelerate adoption of emerging technologies and strengthen the country’s digital backbone, in line with the Government of India’s Digital India mission.
