The board of directors of automotive components and systems provider Uno Minda Ltd has approved the appointment of Vivek Shripad Joshi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Light Metal and Powertrain Systems (LPS) domain, effective April 19, 2026.
Transition roadmap
Kundan Kumar Jha, who is currently the CEO–LPS domain of the company, will, for the first three months after the appointment of Joshi, front-end the business operations, while Joshi focuses on gaining a deep understanding of LPS domain business operations and processes.
Role clarity post-transition
According to a company disclosure, following this, Joshi will take over and start leading the LPS domain businesses, and will have overall accountability for domain performance and delivery of agreed key performance indicators (KPIs).

Jha will continue to provide support to ensure a smooth handover and effective integration. This leadership transition between Joshi and Jha has been planned in a structured and collaborative manner, ensuring continuity and stability for the LPS domain.
