Indian Railways has taken significant steps to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for passengers during the peak summer season by approving 908 special train services across the country from April 15 to July 15, 2026, to manage the seasonal surge in passenger traffic.
These trains will operate a total of 18,262 trips, aimed at ensuring wider connectivity, improving availability of berths and reducing waiting lists during the peak travel season.
