Escorts Kubota Expands Digitrac Range With Three New Models

CW Bureau ·

Escorts Kubota Ltd, an agri machinery and construction equipment manufacturer, has expanded its Digitrac range under the Powertrac brand from two models to a full series of five, covering the 45–55 HP category.

The expanded series is designed for advanced agricultural and heavy haulage applications and is being launched across India.

Portfolio expansion

The move marks the company’s fourth major tractor launch since February 2025, following the Farmtrac Promaxx series, Kubota MU4201 and Powertrac Shaurya paddy series.

Escorts Kubota operates three tractor brands in India (Kubota, Farmtrac and Powertrac) catering to premium, entry-premium and value segments, respectively.

The existing Digitrac models (PP 46i and PP 43i) have been key contributors to Powertrac sales in India.

New models, features

The new additions include Digitrac PP 46i 4WD, Digitrac PP 43i Plus and Digitrac PP 41i. The full range comes equipped with higher engine capacity, larger tyres, side-shift gear, a 12 forward and 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox, independent PTO (iPTO) and a hydraulic lift capacity of 2,000 kg.

The tractors are compatible with advanced implements such as super seeder, reaper, reversible MB plough and laser leveller, supporting multiple stages of farming.

Management commentary

Escorts Kubota, Chairman & Managing Director Nikhil Nanda, said: “Each launch is a deliberate step towards strengthening our portfolio and moving closer to our stated ambition of a stronger market position in India.”

Escorts Kubota, Deputy Managing Director Akira Kato, said: “Digitrac has established a strong identity with its distinctive design and proven appeal among young and progressive farmers. Expanding it into a full series of five models is a natural progression. We see meaningful opportunity to scale this product across India and make it an even larger contributor to the Powertrac business.”

Escorts Kubota, Tractor Business Division Chief Officer Neeraj Mehra, said: “Digitrac is now a full-fledged tractor series for new-age farmers. With its positioning as ‘Style to Kill, Performance to Thrill’, this expanded series brings five models with bigger engine, a 12+3 gearbox, independent PTO and a top speed of up to 39.9 km/h. These are features that were earlier available only in higher horsepower categories.

“With Digitrac, we are making advanced tractor capability accessible in the 45 to 55 HP segment, along with the fuel efficiency and value that Powertrac is known for. We are confident that the expanded series will further strengthen this connect with farmers across India,” he said.
