IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Yash Hotels & Resorts LLP to develop Holiday Inn Resort Alwar, marking its entry into the Rajasthan city. Slated to open in Q1 2030, the signing reinforces IHG’s strategy to expand its footprint across high-potential leisure and emerging destinations in India. The 150-key resort is expected to tap into rising demand from weddings, MICE, and leisure segments.
Strengthening the Holiday Inn portfolio
As one of IHG’s most recognised brands, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts continues to focus on delivering warm, dependable service designed to enhance guest experiences. With its ‘brighter stays’ philosophy, the brand is well positioned to cater to evolving traveller expectations, including leisure guests, wedding attendees, and corporate groups visiting Alwar.
Prime location with strong demand drivers
Located in Alwar, often referred to as the ‘Gateway to Rajasthan’, the upcoming resort will be set against the scenic backdrop of the Aravalli hills. Its strategic proximity to Delhi NCR, Jaipur, and the Sariska Tiger Reserve positions it as a compelling destination. The property will feature multiple dining options, resort-style amenities, and dedicated meeting and event spaces, making it ideal for leisure stays, social celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
