Texmaco Rail Enters GCC Business, Targets $100 Mn Revenue By 2030

CW Bureau ·

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd is charting a new growth path with its foray into the Global Capability Centre (GCC) space, signalling a strategic expansion towards AI-led digital services. The Adventz Group company has launched a network of GCCs under the brand invariz, powered by ServiceNow, marking its entry into global enterprise solutions.

Strategic entry into digital services

The move represents a significant shift for the 86-year-old engineering major as it blends its industrial legacy with next-gen digital capabilities. Texmaco had already soft-launched its first GCC in Faridabad last year and now plans to scale the model across multiple locations in India.

The GCC rollout is expected to generate around 1,200 direct jobs and contribute over $100 million in incremental revenue by 2030, creating a parallel growth engine alongside its core railway and infrastructure businesses.

AI-led platform for global delivery

The GCCs will leverage ServiceNow’s AI-powered workflow platform to deliver automation-led enterprise solutions across industries, catering to both domestic and global clients. The platform integrates data, cloud systems, and AI models to streamline enterprise workflows and enable intelligent automation at scale.

With this, Texmaco aims to position its GCCs as a digital front-end for delivering end-to-end solutions, not just for railways, but across sectors.

Enabling more global alliances

Texmaco Rail, Managing Director, Sudipta Mukherjee said, “This initiative has enormous potential for future growth and will create more global alliances for Texmaco. It is also going to be the digital front end of the company, perhaps one of its kind for total solution around railways globally and also much beyond. Leveraging ServiceNow’s platform will help us unlock new revenue streams, improve efficiencies, and strengthen our positioning in global markets.”

Building a GCC innovation hub

Beyond service delivery, the GCC network is being positioned as a hub for innovation, AI-led transformation, and digital talent development. It will initially support group companies before expanding to external clients, enabling a scalable global delivery model.

The initiative is also expected to enhance operational efficiency, optimise asset utilisation, and create a diversified services portfolio aligned with evolving global GCC trends.

Driving scalable digital ecosystem

Texmaco Rail, Group Chief Digital Officer, Arivarasu Selvaraj said, “Our focus is on building a scalable, innovation-led GCC ecosystem. By combining AI capabilities with global best practices, we aim to deliver agile, high-impact solutions while creating a strong digital talent base.”

Growth outlook

Texmaco expects the GCC business to contribute 10–15% to its overall growth in the medium term, complementing its core manufacturing and infrastructure verticals. The move positions the company among early Indian engineering players scaling AI-enabled global services, aligning with the rapidly evolving enterprise services landscape.

With over 75 billion workflows executed annually on its platform, ServiceNow continues to power enterprise transformation globally, offering Texmaco a strong digital backbone as it builds its next phase of growth.
