Aurm, a Bengaluru-based startup focused on next-generation bank locker infrastructure, has raised ₹42 crore through Series A funding from Earth Fund, Sattva Ventures and a group of angel investors.
The investment will enable the company to scale its technology-driven vaulting solutions aimed at addressing the shortage of secure storage options for urban residents, banks and corporate campuses.
Redefining secure storage
The platform offers automated, military-grade safe deposit lockers integrated into gated communities, corporate campuses and bank branches, providing a “vault-at-your-doorstep” model.
Earth Fund Head, Abhay Garg said, “Vijay and team have identified a problem hiding in plain sight. The demand for secure private storage in residential and corporate communities is real and largely unaddressed. What they have done is combine the right technology with a deployment model that works within the natural rhythms of how these communities function, and that’s a genuinely hard thing to get right.”
Scaling urban infrastructure
Aurm Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder Vijay Arisetty said, “We started Aurm with a simple observation that people living in well-appointed homes in well-run communities still had no reliable way to secure their valuables without travelling across the city to a bank branch. We’ve built something that changes that entirely. This partnership allows us to leverage the deep domain expertise in the build environment and urban infrastructure of Earth Fund and Sattva Ventures. It allows us to seamlessly integrate our next-gen vaults into India’s modern residential and corporate developments.”
Sattva Ventures Founder Adrija Agarwal said, “Our investment reflects a strong conviction in the future of security technology infrastructure, where physical security meets digital-first efficiency. By deploying tech-led, automated vaults directly into gated communities, Aurm is creating the infrastructure layer for ₹100 trillion in household wealth. This model delivers a perfect trifecta: unlocking premium real estate for builders, asset-light expansion for banks, and 24/7 security for HNIs. Aurm is moving beyond simple convenience to provide military grade protection for the Indian household’s most significant asset.”
Tech-driven shift
Aurm’s facilities feature 24/7 accessibility, multi-factor authentication and intrusion-proof surveillance, alongside premium user experience elements.
The collaboration signals a shift from centralised banking locker systems to decentralised, tech-enabled secure storage solutions embedded within urban infrastructure.
