Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has launched the new Nexon Pure+ PS variant at an introductory price of ₹9.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), as the company celebrates the milestone of 1 million Nexons on Indian roads.
Panoramic sunroof below ₹10 lakh
With the launch, the Tata Nexon becomes the only car in India priced under ₹10 lakh to offer a panoramic sunroof, making a premium feature more accessible to mass-market buyers.
The move is expected to further strengthen the Nexon’s appeal in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, where feature-rich offerings continue to drive customer demand.
Multiple powertrain options
The Nexon Pure+ PS will be offered across Tata Motors’ multi-powertrain portfolio, including petrol, diesel and CNG options. The variant will be available with the segment’s most powerful 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine in both manual and AMT configurations, alongside the company’s fuel-efficient diesel powertrain in MT and AMT versions. It will also be offered with the twin-cylinder iCNG technology paired with a manual transmission.
Nexon continues strong market momentum
Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd Chief Commercial Officer Vivek Srivatsa said the Nexon continues to remain the preferred choice for customers across the country.
“As India’s No.1 selling car in H2FY26 and India’s No.1 SUV in FY26, the Nexon continues to remain as the preferred choice for customers across the country. With a 1 million-plus strong family, Nexon has always stood for offering a superior all-round package to its buyers at every price point,” he said.
He added that the introduction of the Pure+ PS variant with India’s first panoramic sunroof under ₹10 lakh further strengthens the SUV’s proposition.
Feature-rich positioning
According to the company, the Nexon continues to attract customers with its coupe-inspired styling, safety credentials and broad feature list.
The new Pure+ PS variant is aimed at enhancing the SUV’s aspirational value by combining comfort, technology and convenience features at a competitive price point.
As the only SUV in India currently offering petrol, diesel, CNG and electric powertrain options, the Tata Nexon continues to target a wide spectrum of buyers in the compact SUV market.
