Data Patterns Q4 PAT Up 21% At ₹138 Cr On Higher Operational Efficiency

Data Patterns (India), a strategic defence and aerospace electronics systems provider reported a 21% rise in profit after tax (PAT) for the March quarter of FY26 at ₹138 crore compared with ₹114 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, supported by higher operational efficiency and strong execution across defence programmes.

The company’s EBITDA for Q4FY26 grew 29% ₹193 crore from ₹150 crore in Q4FY25.

Q4 revenue declines despite margin expansion
Total revenue for Q4FY26 declined 14% to ₹351 crore from ₹407 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations also fell 13% to ₹345 crore compared with ₹396 crore in Q4FY25.

Despite the decline in quarterly revenue, the company delivered strong profitability growth aided by improved execution and operating leverage.

FY26 revenue crosses ₹950 crore
For the full financial year ended March 31, 2026, Data Patterns reported total revenue of ₹953 crore, registering a growth of 26% compared with ₹755 crore in FY25.

Revenue from operations increased 31% to ₹925 crore in FY26 from ₹708 crore in the previous fiscal.

EBITDA and profit grow strongly
EBITDA for FY26 stood at ₹371 crore, up 35 per cent from ₹275 crore in FY25, while PAT increased 22 per cent to ₹271 crore from ₹222 crore a year earlier.

The company said the growth was driven by strong execution across strategic defence electronics programmes and higher order inflows.

Order book reaches all-time high
Data Patterns secured fresh orders worth ₹1,121 crore during FY26, taking its order book as of March 31, 2026 to ₹926.48 crore.

The company also received additional orders worth ₹46.78 crore during the first quarter of FY27 so far.

Further, negotiations have been completed for projects worth ₹1,090 crore, which are yet to be formally converted into orders. Including these negotiated orders, the company’s executable order book stands at nearly ₹2,062 crore, the highest in its history.

Defence electronics pipeline strengthens outlook
“ FY26 has been a landmark year for Data Patterns, marked by strong execution, robust order inflows, and continued capability expansion across strategic defence programs. Our order book stands at an all-time high of approximately ₹2,062 crore, providing strong revenue visibility,” said Chairman and Managing Director of Data Patterns.

He added that the company remains confident of sustaining growth momentum backed by a healthy executable pipeline across radars, electronic warfare systems, and advanced defence electronics.
