CW Bureau ·

Bosch Ltd, a leading supplier of technology and services, reported total revenue from operations of ₹5,566 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, registering a 13.3% growth compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The company said the growth was supported by rising demand across the automotive sector, including strong momentum in the two-wheeler segment.

Profitability improves
Profit before tax (before exceptional items) for the quarter stood at ₹808 crore, accounting for 14.5% of total revenue from operations, marking a 3.8% increase year-on-year.

Bosch said the improvement was driven by revenue growth and optimization of operational expenses. Profit after tax for the quarter came in at ₹568 crore, representing 10.2% of revenue from operations.

Mobility segment powers growth
The company’s Mobility segment posted a 23.3% increase in overall product sales during the quarter compared to the same period last year.

The Power Solutions business recorded a 27.4% growth, aided by robust demand across the automotive market. Bosch’s two-wheeler business surged 63.4% following higher sales of exhaust gas sensors amid the implementation of On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD-II) norms from April 1, 2025.

However, the Beyond Mobility segment saw a 9.1% decline in sales due to the divestment of its Video Solutions, Access and Intrusion and Communication Systems business in May 2025.

Company eyes e-mobility opportunities
Bosch Ltd Managing Director Guruprasad Mudlapur said FY26 witnessed strong revenue growth driven by higher production volumes in the automotive segment, particularly passenger cars and tractors. He added that the company’s performance amid continuing supply chain challenges reflected its operational agility. Mudlapur further said Bosch’s new joint venture with Tata AutoComp would strengthen its position in the e-mobility space and help address evolving industry requirements.

Full-year performance remains strong
For FY26, Bosch reported total revenue from operations of ₹20,035 crore, reflecting a 10.8% increase over the previous financial year.

Profit before tax, including gains from the sale of the Video Solutions, Access and Intrusion and Communication Systems business, stood at ₹3,642 crore, accounting for 18.2% of revenue from operations. Profit after tax for the year came in at ₹2,770 crore, or 13.8% of revenue.

The company’s Mobility segment recorded a 16.9% increase in annual product sales, led by sustained growth in the Power Solutions and two-wheeler businesses.
