Hexaware Technologies Ltd, a global IT services and digital solutions provider, has entered into an agreement to acquire Consulting Professionals Services Holdings Ltd along with its wholly owned subsidiary Consulting Professionals Services Ltd (CPS) for ₹140 crore to strengthen its consulting, AI and cloud transformation capabilities.
The transaction is expected to close within two weeks.
Focus on financial services and cloud transformation
Primarily operating in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, CPS is a specialist technology consulting and professional services firm serving an FTSE 100 client.
Hexaware already has an existing relationship with the same client and is among its leading IT services providers. The acquisition is expected to help consolidate client spending and strengthen Hexaware’s strategic position within the customer’s supplier ecosystem.
Expands AI and advisory capabilities
The acquisition is also expected to support Hexaware’s ambition to become a trusted AI and cloud transformation partner for financial institutions and large enterprises.
According to the company, CPS brings advisory expertise along with integrated local and global delivery capabilities that will help expand market presence across enterprise accounts.
Access to specialised talent
Hexaware Country Head – UK & Ireland Parameshwaran Iyer said the acquisition would provide access to specialised talent in the UAE and UK markets.
“This acquisition adds scale and strengthens our credibility in program assurance and cloud engineering, which is significant as we expand our delivery locations and workforce diversity,” he said.
CPS sees stronger client opportunities
CPS Managing Partner Amjad Riaz said the transaction would help deliver greater value to clients by leveraging Hexaware’s broader capabilities.
