Swelect Energy PAT Jumps Over 4X In FY26, Bets Big On Solar And BESS

Swelect Energy Systems Ltd, a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector, reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹11.09 crore for the March quarter of FY26, compared to ₹8.98 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Revenue from operations for Q4 FY26 stood at ₹202.42 crore as against ₹218.81 crore in Q4 FY25.

The company’s Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA), prior to exceptional items, stood at ₹42.87 crore during the January-March 2026 quarter, marginally higher than ₹42.67 crore reported in the same period last year.

FY26 earnings strengthen
For the full financial year FY26, revenue from operations rose to ₹657.12 crore during FY26 from ₹621.67 crore in the previous financial year.

The company’s EBITDA before exceptional items increased sharply to ₹187.46 crore in FY26, compared to ₹143.79 crore recorded in FY25.

PAT for FY26 surged to ₹57.58 crore, significantly higher than ₹13.98 crore reported in FY25.

Focus on solar and BESS expansion
The company said it continues to strengthen its renewable energy portfolio with investments in solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

1GW IPP target in focus
Swelect Energy Systems CEO & Managing Director, Arulkumar Shanmugasundaram said, “FY26 EBITA expanded 30% to ₹187.46 crore, numbers that reflect significant improvement in the company’s operating performance. We are well positioned to reach our announced goal of having a 1GW IPP portfolio in two year timeframe.”

Established in 1984 as a UPS and power protection systems company, Swelect Energy Systems has evolved into a solar power solutions provider with operations across multiple renewable energy segments.

The company currently operates across three key business verticals including independent power producer (IPP) business catering to commercial, industrial and government customers, ground-mounted and rooftop EPC projects, and a channel-driven products business focused on residential and commercial customers including home solar and BESS solutions.
