Dr Agarwal’s Healthcare Ltd, the eyecare major, plans to commission 60 new facilities during FY27, including 40 surgical centres and 20 clinics, as the company accelerates its nationwide expansion strategy backed by a planned capital expenditure of ₹380 crore to ₹400 crore.

Speaking to analysts, Chief Executive Officer Dr Adil Agarwal said the expansion would be evenly split between the first and second half of FY27, with the company continuing to strengthen its presence across South, West and North India.

South remains largest growth engine
The South region, which contributes 61% of the group’s revenues, will see the addition of 24 new facilities during FY27. The company currently operates 182 facilities across the five southern states, including 34 additions made in FY26.

Dr Agarwal said the company remains focused on sustaining leadership in Tamil Nadu and Telangana while expanding aggressively into underserved markets across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

The Southern region delivered revenue of ₹1,273 crore in FY26, registering a year-on-year growth of 22.6%.

Aggressive expansion in North and West
The North region is set to witness its highest-ever addition of 16 facilities during FY27, driven by the rapid expansion of the company’s Delhi-NCR cluster.

Dr. Agarwal said the company entered the Delhi market in May 2025 with its South Extension facility, followed by launches in Gurgaon Sector 29, Preet Vihar, Rajouri Garden, Rohtak and Faridabad. The company plans to add another seven to eight centres across Delhi-NCR over the next 12 to 18 months, including Noida, Ghaziabad and key towns in Haryana.

The North region contributed 9% of group revenues and reported ₹191 crore in revenue during FY26, up 20.7% year-on-year. The company currently operates 26 facilities in the region.

Meanwhile, the West region is expected to add 15 new centres across Mumbai, Maharashtra and Gujarat in FY27. Dr. Agarwal said a significant portion of the company’s expansion focus would now shift towards Mumbai following strong traction from recently launched facilities in the city.

The West region contributed 16% of overall revenues and reported ₹341 crore in revenue in FY26, growing 19% year-on-year. The company currently operates 47 facilities in the region.

Revenue crosses ₹2,000 crore milestone
Dr Agarwal’s Healthcare crossed ₹2,000 crore in revenue for the first time in FY26, supported by more than 30 lakh patients served across its network.

The company also crossed a major talent milestone with its doctor strength surpassing 1,000 for the first time.

During FY26, the company performed over 3.23 lakh surgeries and recorded daily patient walk-ins of nearly 10,000, compared to around 8,000 in the previous financial year, reflecting a 25% increase.

Greenfield expansion accelerates
The company said its greenfield expansion strategy has been the key driver of network growth over the last four years. Since FY23, it has added 148 greenfield facilities, with FY26 witnessing the launch of one new facility every week across 26 cities.

Dr Agarwal said the company has already launched 11 new facilities in the current financial year across cities including Faridabad, Ludhiana, Bikaner, Kollam, Pune, Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh.
