Uno Minda Aftermarket has launched its new metal wiper blade range featuring technology from Taiwan, strengthening its aftermarket product portfolio with a focus on safety, durability and improved driving comfort.
The company said the new range has been developed to deliver consistent wiping performance and better visibility during everyday driving as well as adverse weather conditions.
Focus on safer driving experience
Uno Minda Aftermarket Business Head Anand Kumar said declining wiper performance remains a major concern for vehicle owners, often affecting both driving comfort and safety.
“A key challenge for drivers today is the gradual decline in wiper performance, which often leads to streaks, noise, and reduced visibility, especially during critical weather conditions. This not only affects driving comfort but also compromises safety. With our metal wiper blade range, we aim to address this issue through a combination of precision engineering and reliable performance,” he said.

According to the company, the new wiper blade range features a pressure-balanced frame design that maintains uniform contact with the windshield, enabling smooth and streak-free wiping performance.
The rubber wiper blades are coated with graphite and Teflon to reduce friction and ensure quieter operation, helping improve overall driving comfort.
Uno Minda said the wiper blades have been tested for up to 500,000 wiping cycles, enhancing durability and ensuring long-lasting performance for vehicle owners.
Universal fit for majority of vehicles
The range also comes with a universal adapter designed to fit more than 95% of vehicles, making installation simpler while ensuring compatibility across multiple models.
The company added that the combination of specialised coating, pressure-balanced frame design and enhanced durability helps provide consistent visibility and a safer driving experience.
Available across retail and online platforms
Uno Minda said the metal wiper blade range will be available through major retail outlets and online platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart and Uno Minda Kart, improving accessibility for customers across the country.
The products are priced between ₹180 and ₹405.
