Taj Opens Its Doors To Continental Europe With Frankfurt Landmark

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has marked a significant milestone in its global expansion journey with the opening of Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt, bringing the iconic Taj brand to Continental Europe for the first time.

The 126-key luxury hotel in Frankfurt, Germany, strengthens IHCL’s international footprint and aligns with its strategy of expanding the Taj brand across key gateway cities worldwide.

Taj enters a new market
The opening of Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt represents Taj’s debut in Continental Europe, adding another chapter to the brand’s international growth story.

Housed within one of Frankfurt’s historic hospitality landmarks, the hotel has been extensively renovated and reintroduced under the Taj brand, blending European heritage with Indian hospitality.

Blending heritage and luxury
The hotel features 126 guestrooms and suites designed to combine timeless elegance with contemporary luxury. Its culinary offerings include Bombay Brasserie, serving Indian cuisine inspired by Mumbai’s vibrant food culture, Jimmy’s Bar, known for live piano performances and signature cocktails, and the Lobby Bar, offering a curated selection of teas, coffees and pastries.

Wellness and business facilities
The property houses Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle, offering Ayurveda-inspired wellness experiences alongside a fully equipped fitness centre.

For corporate and social events, the hotel features three event spaces with natural daylight and high ceilings. It also includes The Chambers, Taj’s exclusive members-only business club designed for networking and business engagements.
