Customer First: Skoda Auto Unveils First Express Care Facility In Chennai

Skoda Auto India has strengthened its customer service network with the inauguration of its first-ever Express Care facility in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Located at Perungudi on OMR Road and operated by Kun Motor Enterprises, the facility marks the introduction of Skoda Express Care, a new offering under the company’s Skoda Super Care programme.

The move is part of the automaker’s strategy to enhance customer convenience, improve service efficiency and strengthen the ownership experience as it continues to expand its footprint across India.

Expanding aftersales network
The new aftersales facility spans 27,900 sq. ft. and features 16 service bays. With this addition, Škoda Auto India now has 10 customer touchpoints in Chennai and 31 touchpoints across 14 cities in Tamil Nadu, including Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy, Vellore and Tiruppur.

The company said the facility will play a key role in supporting customers with faster and more efficient vehicle servicing while maintaining the brand’s quality standards.

Introducing Skoda Express Care
Skoda Express Care has been designed to offer a streamlined service experience through dedicated service infrastructure, advanced job card preparation, parts pre-kitting, certified technicians working through a parallel workflow model, and real-time service tracking through WMS 2.0.

The service is available across the current Skoda vehicle portfolio for eligible periodic maintenance visits and aims to reduce turnaround times while ensuring consistent service quality.

Customer-first initiative

Strengthening customer reach
Skoda Auto India has significantly expanded its network in recent years, growing from more than 120 touchpoints in 2021 to over 335 touchpoints across 185 cities.

The company said the expansion reflects its commitment to getting closer to customers and delivering a seamless ownership and service experience across the country.
