Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd, a global leader in colour solutions and specialized pigments, recently inaugurated its second global head office near Frankfurt, Germany, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy following the acquisition of the Heubach Group in March 2025.
The nearly 21,000 sq. ft. facility will serve as the company’s second global head office alongside its existing global headquarters in Pune.
Strategic expansion
Located about 11 km from Sudarshan’s production facility at Industriepark Höchst, the new office has been designed as an open-plan workspace to promote collaboration and integration across the company’s global operations.
The facility is leased under Sudarshan Germany Horizons GmbH, the company’s German operating entity.
The development underscores the growing importance of Europe in Sudarshan’s long-term growth plans and follows the integration of Heubach Group into its global operations.
Management comment
“The Frankfurt Hillsite Office is more than a new workspace — it is a clear signal of how important Germany and Europe are to our global ambitions. This office reflects the scale and direction of where we are headed,” said Sudarshan Chemical Industries Global Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Rathi.
“Frankfurt has always been central to our global operations, and this office is a testament to that. I am proud to lead our German operations from this new home — a strong foundation for everything we are building together,” said Sudarshan Chemical Industries Chief Technology Officer and Sudarshan Germany Horizons GmbH Managing Director Dr. Klaus-Dieter Baumgart.
