AI-enabled corporate mobility solutions provider Routematic has entered into a strategic partnership with Green SM, the global all-electric mobility brand from Vietnam and part of VinFast, to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India’s corporate transportation sector.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed during Green SM’s official launch in New Delhi, marking a significant step towards advancing sustainable workforce transportation in one of the world’s fastest-growing mobility markets.
Under the partnership, Routematic will deploy Green SM’s electric vehicles across its corporate mobility operations, enabling enterprises to offer fully electric, technology-driven transportation solutions for employees while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and operational efficiency.
Strengthening EV transition
The collaboration reinforces Routematic’s long-term commitment to sustainable mobility and supports growing enterprise demand for environmentally responsible transportation solutions.
With businesses increasingly focusing on ESG commitments, sustainability targets and carbon footprint reduction, employee transportation is emerging as a major area for large-scale electrification. Routematic has been actively supporting this transition across key corporate hubs including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi-NCR.
According to the company, its deployment of more than 400 electric vehicles in Bengaluru and Pune has helped enterprises avoid approximately 15.7 lakh litres of fuel consumption annually, highlighting the environmental and operational advantages of EV-led workforce mobility.
Sustainability is key
Routematic Co-Founder and Executive Director, Kavitha Ramachandragowda, said, “At Routematic, sustainability has been a key pillar of our long-term mobility vision. We have been steadily expanding the adoption of electric vehicles across our transportation ecosystem and have seen firsthand the positive impact EV-led corporate mobility can create for enterprises and the environment. Our partnership with Green SM marks another important milestone in this journey, enabling us to scale sustainable employee transportation while continuing to deliver the safety, reliability and operational excellence our customers rely on us for.”
Green SM India CEO Bach Tuan Anh, said, “We are pleased to work with Routematic as Green SM begins the journey in India. Building green mobility is not only about introducing electric vehicles, but also about working with partners who understand the daily movement needs of businesses, employees and cities. Through this collaboration, Green SM hopes to combine our experience in all-electric fleet operations with Routematic’s deep knowledge of corporate mobility, creating practical solutions that can support India’s sustainable development.”
Combining technology and electric mobility
Green SM officially commenced operations in India on June 5, 2026, with Delhi-NCR as its first market. The company operates an integrated electric mobility model built around the all-electric 7-seater VinFast Limo Green SUV, supported by trained drivers, safety-focused operations and fleet management expertise.
The partnership will combine Green SM’s electric vehicle fleet with Routematic’s AI-powered transportation and fleet management platform, route optimisation capabilities and operational expertise. Together, the companies aim to deliver a modern, efficient and sustainable transportation model for corporate customers across India.
Growing opportunity in corporate transportation
India’s corporate mobility sector is witnessing rapid transformation, driven by the expansion of business hubs, rising Global Capability Centres (GCCs), increasing emphasis on employee well-being and growing sustainability expectations.
As organisations seek practical ways to reduce emissions, electrification of workforce transportation is gaining momentum. Through this partnership, Routematic and Green SM aim to help enterprises transition towards cleaner mobility solutions while supporting India’s broader goals around sustainable transportation, fleet electrification and net-zero ambitions.
