Trackk Adds Equity And F&O Trading, Deepens Focus On Young Investors

CW Bureau ·

Trackk, a platform focused on young Indian investors, has launched equity investing and futures and options (F&O) trading services, enabling users to invest and trade directly on its platform for the first time.

The move marks a significant expansion of Trackk’s offerings beyond stock discovery and investment insights, allowing users to identify opportunities, create personalised portfolios and execute equity and F&O trades within a single platform.

The company said the new experience has been designed specifically for first-time investors and includes features such as opinion-based stock discovery, quick trade, personalised recommendations, simplified order execution and a single-screen trading interface.

Targeting first-time investors
The launch comes at a time when participation in India’s capital markets continues to rise, particularly among younger investors.

India crossed 21.6 crore demat accounts in FY26, with 2.35 crore new accounts added during the first nine months of the financial year. Industry data indicates that investors below the age of 30 account for nearly 75% of new demat account openings, highlighting the growing influence of young participants in the market.

Unlike platforms that primarily cater to active traders, Trackk said its product has been built around the needs of first-time investors, aiming to simplify market participation and improve confidence among new entrants.

Opportunity for young investors
Trackk Co-Founder and CEO Vedant Gupte said, “We started Trackk to make investing easier to navigate for young Indians entering the markets for the first time. With investing and trading now live on the platform, users can move from discovering an opportunity to acting on it within the same experience. For us, this launch is about removing friction and making participation in the markets feel far more intuitive for a new generation of investors.”

Growth plans ahead
Over the next 12 months, Trackk plans to expand its presence across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities and is targeting 500,000 accounts on its platform.

The company also intends to broaden its product portfolio by introducing additional investment products, including mutual funds, as it seeks to support users through different stages of their financial journey.

Building a multi-asset platform
Founded by Vedant Gupte, Siddharth Thakkar and Aryan Jain, Trackk positions itself as an investing platform built for Gen Z investors. The company focuses on simplifying stock discovery and market participation through AI-led insights, personalised investing journeys and streamlined execution.

Trackk is backed by Lightspeed, Info Edge Ventures and several angel investors, including Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Tanmay Bhatt and Varun Mayya.

The company said it is working towards building a broader multi-asset financial platform encompassing investing, wealth creation and a range of financial products tailored for young Indians.
