Formula Karting Hosts Inaugural Drift ‘N’ Drunch Karting Cup Event In Pune

Formula Karting, a part of Prasuk Jain Hospitality, successfully hosted the inaugural edition of Drift ‘N’ Drunch Pune Karting Cup, bringing together racers, motorsport enthusiasts, families and lifestyle seekers for a two-day celebration of racing, entertainment and community engagement.

The event combined the competitive action of the Pune Karting Cup Championship with the festival atmosphere of Drift ‘N’ Drunch, creating what organizers described as a first-of-its-kind motorsport lifestyle festival in Pune.

Motorsport culture

Community-driven experience
Formula Karting, Business Head Joyrenba Singha said, “Our vision was to create an event that goes beyond racing and brings together competition, entertainment, and community in one immersive experience. The event featured participants competing across four categories, Under 12, Under 60 kg, Above 60 kg and Corporate, for a total prize pool of ₹1.2 lakh. The championship followed a structured format comprising qualifying rounds, elimination heats and finals.

Championship winners
In the Under-12 category, Rudra Bartakke emerged as champion, while Mohil Chaudhari secured the runner-up position and Siddharth Bhanushali finished as the second runner-up.

Kunal Desai won the Under-60 kg category, followed by Ved Chitgopekar as runner-up and Nehem Boyles as second runner-up.

In the Above-60 kg category, Nitish Chaudhari claimed the championship title, with Aadyant Almal finishing runner-up and Devnath Yadavrai securing the second runner-up position.

The event was powered by Axis Bank and supported by partners including District, Ravivar Racing Club, Red Bull, Maharashtra Esports, Pro Gaming, Institute of Science and Sports Technology, The Healthy Binge and several gifting and experience partners.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, Formula Karting said it plans to further strengthen its motorsport community initiatives and create more racing and lifestyle experiences across its properties.

Formula Karting currently operates outdoor karting tracks in Pune and Noida, offering racing experiences for enthusiasts, families and corporate groups.
