Truzon Solar, a solar energy company and flagship brand of Suntek Energy Systems Pvt Ltd, has secured a strategic investment from V Chamundeswaranath, sports administrator, entrepreneur, former Andhra cricket captain, former IPL Governing Council member and current BCCI Apex Council member.
The investment comes at a time when Truzon Solar is expanding its presence across multiple states and strengthening its position in India’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector. The company recently entered the Karnataka market as part of its broader expansion strategy.
According to the company, Chamundeswaranath’s investment reflects growing confidence in its vision of accelerating India’s transition towards clean, sustainable and affordable energy solutions.
Investor confidence grows
Chamundeswaranath joins a group of prominent investors associated with Truzon Solar, including cricket personalities Sachin Tendulkar, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma.
The company said the continued support from investors highlights confidence in its business model, customer-focused approach and efforts to make solar energy more accessible across India.
“We are honoured to welcome V Chamundeswaranath to the Truzon Solar family. His remarkable journey as a cricketer, administrator and entrepreneur resonates strongly with our mission of building a cleaner and more sustainable India,” said Truzon Solar, Founder & Managing Director, Bhavani Suresh Charugundla.
“His association further reinforces our belief that solar energy is not merely a business opportunity but a national movement towards energy independence and environmental responsibility,” he added.
Focus on clean energy transition
Chamundeswaranath said India’s transition towards clean energy offers significant opportunities and described Truzon Solar as a company with a clear vision and strong execution capabilities.
“India’s clean energy transition presents one of the greatest opportunities of our time, and Truzon Solar has demonstrated a clear vision, strong execution capabilities and a deep commitment to making solar energy accessible to every segment of society,” said Chamundeswaranath.
“I have closely observed the company’s growth journey and am impressed by its customer-centric approach, professional management and ambitious expansion plans,” he added.
Expansion plans
Truzon Solar said it remains focused on accelerating solar adoption across residential, commercial, industrial and institutional segments.
With increasing investor confidence and an expanding footprint, the company aims to strengthen its position in the renewable energy market while contributing to India’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions and advance its clean energy goals.
